About By-the-Bay
Welcome to By-the-Bay - artful inspirations! We are a small specialty shop located on Cape Cod in Brewster, Massachusetts. We feature a wide selection of unique and high quality handcrafted items, created by more than one hundred artists from the Cape and other areas in Massachusetts and New England. We focus almost exclusively on products made in the United States by individual artists and craftspeople. On very rare occasions, we may find special items from other areas of the world. When we do, we look very carefully at those companies' practices and policies, especially with respect to the people who make what we sell.
Our selection includes unique hand-painted accent pieces, jewelry, pottery, baskets, candles, soap and bath items, to name only a few.
In addition, we have a special selection of inspirational books and cards, and many other items that make it easy to find just the right gift or decorative item for your home.
