Meet the Author: Mark Kimball
Moulton
Storyteller
Mark Kimball Moulton graduated from the University of Connecticut with a
Bachelor of Science in Horticulture. He lives in a magical world surrounded by his
wonderful family and friends... a world where the forest speaks and the rivers
sing and life is truly good.
Mark
has settled in a tiny historic village surrounded by state forest and lost in
the north-west hills of
Connecticut
.
His 1851 farmhouse, The Kimball Homestead, is embraced by lush gardens and
overlooks a nationally designated "Wild and
Scenic
River
".
Bald Eagles, Osprey, Wild Turkeys, beaver and deer are commonly sighted along
with the occasional Black Bear and (reportedly) a moose now and then.
Along
with extensive daily strolls by his beautiful
Farmington
River
, Mark spends
his leisure time hiking, biking, cross country skiing, kayaking,
gardening, philosophizing and writing.
Mark
wishes peace to all who enter his world.
One of his favorite philosophers is Henry David Thoreau. Although he lived
during the nineteenth century, the thought that follows is as relevant now as it
was then: If you are looking for true happiness, "simplify, simplify,
simplify."
